I too am 49, born in 1957 and am restoring a 57- W200. Trucks made in 57 had a paper tag in the glove box with the serial # etc on it, most tags didn't survive ( big suprise!) but you still may see the glue in the back of the box where the tag was. If it is indeed a 57 it would be a W300.....W300M is 58-59 and WM300 for 60 +.....keep looking for the frame #, that will answer your question.....Kevin
