No I don't have that heat shield. What happens is the arm breaks off, and drops in the motor because the pin holding it either breaks or drops out. I swedged the last one to try to keep it from falling out, but all the pieces fall into the oil pan. I ended up putting on an electric pump, 1.5-4 psi back near the tank, and I think that will work well. It is very quiet.
