I wondered if it might be easier and better to fit the PW sheetmetal around a Dodge chassis? That way, you'd have running gear built for the Diesel, good brakes etc.
I have no idea whether this is feasible, but we have all seen PW cabs/sheetmetal mounted on newer chassis....but not sure about a Dodge Ram.
