As for the tags, the 2wd cabs have the tags on the passenger side until mid to late 1946 just like the Power Wagons, at which point both tags move to the drivers side.
All the tags on the door jambs were held on by screws from the factory until 1958.
The owner E-mailed me one number off the one tag on the door jamb, it belongs to a WFA-32, or a 1 1/2 ton 2wd truck with a 2 speed rear end.
He did not give me any other numbers, so I can not figure out what year the tag is from. There looks to be a military tag on the glovebox, but the seller did not give me those numbers (I did ask).
I will see if I can get some more info out of them...
I agree about the doors, and the side sliders for the windshield, this one is a bit of a puzzler...
