Non-sync is not a problem IF you have patience. Don't be in a hurry, and all will be fine. It will take some getting used to- especially the down-shift part. Keep the rpm's up a little and slow up a little before going down a gear. I would suggest putting it in, then driving it to get practice. Restore or rebuild later so you don't tear up any new gears you might have to put in.
