They both were dana 44s.I just had to swap the spindles and use the cheby stub(outer shafts).The chevy outer ends are 1 or 2 inches longer than the Dodge,but isnt noticeable.Or at least it wasnt on our truck.I dont think chevy used the 44 much??Not sure,but think most were corperate?I got the oportunity to part out a 74 3/4 chevy once with the outer ends of the 44 that had been rebuilt,so the wheels went to spinnin,and a day later,I had disc brakes.
