There it is! That's the same way Ziebart is with their lifetime warranty. I had a truck done with them and they said it had to be pressure washed before "free" touch up so I did it myself before taking it in. First year they said it wasn't good enough so I they charged $50.00 to do it again. Next year I did it again and they said it was TOO good and I removed too much undercoating. If you miss the checkup by one day your warranty is void.

I applaud Dodge for doing it but hiding all the catches isn't very honest either. When I say hiding, I mean that it sure isn't out there like they print LIFETIME on the ads. Nothing mentioned in our local papers ads about checkups. I'd be intersted to know how much checkups cost as well. A guy at work has the dealer do ALL his maintenance and oil changes/lube were reasonable reasonable($30.00) but he had the change a light bulb for $250.00. They claimed $125.00 for bulb and $125.00 labor. I'm also assuming ANY work has to be done by Certified Dodge mechanic?
I'd like to be in the waiting room when they explain The lifetime warranty program to you when you have a problem. I think a video camera would be in order as you make them squirm.
Hopefully they will stand behind their stuff, I hope for all it will be an easy system but previous experiences with the OLD Dodge makes me have my doubts. Thanks for the additional info Norm, Kevin
