The IGC-4703 is the correct distributor for the 230 truck engine
The Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth cars of the late forties, six cylinders, used the same pump as the trucks and an IGS-4207B-1. If it would have been used on an early 230, my guess you need the correct pump for the IGS-4203B.
