let's face it , all vehicles breakdown sooner or later. it is sure comforting to know the dealer will stand behind their product. especially with the cost of repairs to new vehicles. i think in this day and age if you want to stay competetive as a dealer you need to have a good warranty coverage. and 3yrs/ 36,000 miles isn't my idea of good. i have a 98 sonoma ( iknow , iknow it's gm) that i bought new with 3 yrs/36k mi warranty. within a year and a half i was on my own.i am very happy with the 180,000 miles iv'e put on it. no major repairs. if i could be sure i would get another one exactly like it i'd step out and buy one tommorrow.
