M37 tire pressure question

What do you guys think of running 35 lbs of air in the NDT tires on an M37 that carries no load? I've got 50 lbs in them, but that's mighty rough when driving on the rocky roads around here. I don't plan to drive it on pavement to any extent. It'll be on logging roads and old cat trails, with a bit of cross-country and some stream beds. It just doesn't seem like that much air pressure is doing anything but making the ride rougher and reducing the traction. I know they talk about "airing down" to 35 lbs for mud and snow, but would it hurt anything to run 35 lbs all the time? Should I go even lower?
