When you hit about 35 mph it sort of spudders in very short bursts and won't gain any more speed, but doesn't loose any speed either.

When you rev the engine setting still, it never spudders and runs great, so it only does it under a load.

Point and plugs are new and adjusted properly. Coil is old and could be the problem but it acts more like it's not getting enough fuel.

Could it possibly be a bad gasket at the carb bowl? Sucking air?
