...nearly everyone at the Sweptline Forum knows that name....started in 1997, planned to drive it home from the ranch, 150 miles away. That didn't work, so we trailered her home in 1998 to just do a basic clean up, that uncovered a few issues so I pulled the motor and trans. Hmmm, why don't I paint the frame while the motor is out, no that'd be half baked, heck with 6 more bolts I can take the cab off....may as well pull the bed too and powder coat the frame...and add disc brakes.....and rebuild the transfer case and transmission seals and bearings...motor....add headers...but the header guy flaked out on me...I'll just make my own headers....seats needs upholstering...power steering would be nice...opps, two bouts with cancer....dang broke both my feet on a job...missed nearly a year of work total...then good news, three big years at work...but no time....has it really been 10 years....

I've set goals of every rally, every year, but it turns out that I can't say no to anyone, with a project. I've rebuilt half a dozen vehicles for other people, in the meantime, every time I work my way to the back of the shop where the "Parts Pile" rests, the phone rings and another vehicle rolls in a few days later.....some day....
