I'm glad it worked. I got that advice on this site years ago. I always like to try the easy fixes first. Now you have the special "clutch stickage prevention tool" that you can use whenever you park your truck for a long time.
Too bad the easy fix won't unstick the clutch on my Cat. One of the three overcentering levers in the mechanism that snaps the pressure plate in broke and there's no easy fix for that. I was lucky to get it back to the shed under its own power. Now I just have to get in there and get real greasy and take everything apart and pull it out through the access hatch, and then try to find a replacement lever for the 50-year-old machine.
