David Sherman wins the cigar. I made a jig with a 2x4 cut to length and backed by a vertical piece of plywood protecting the front of the seat. With the clutch fully depressed, I pulled the inspection plate and looked inside. Didn't see any rust which was a good thing. About 1/2 of the teeth in the flywheel are worn down, but none are missing.
Three days of patience and the clutch popped loose. One problem down, several more to go.
Thanks for the advice. I've lways gotten good intel from this site. We're sure having a lot of fun with out new 1941 Dodge Command Car. Went to a car show and drew a large group of onlookers, including an invitation to show at an airport Fly-in in October.
