Sorry If I Came Off Sounding A Little Rude There But I Guess I Took It The Wrong Way But Hey, Everythings Cool Here! I Am Very Excited About The Truck & I'm Not Advertising It For Sale Anywhere Either. I'm Mainly Into Trading & Merely Stated That It Is Available Just In Case Somebody Just Has To Have It More Than I Do! I Learned Long Ago To Price Something Like You Don't Want To Sell It As Somebody Might Just Call Your Bluff! It's Probably Worth About $7,500.00, Give Or Take A Grand Either Way, But If I Say $10K Then That Will Get Rid Of Most Everybody Except That One Guy Who Just Has To Have It! I Couldn't Replace It With Anything Today For Even $40K-$50K If Not More. Just Go & Price A New Dually 4X4! I Did Buy It Thinking It Had Turned Over 100K But Hey, I Got Lucky For Once!
I Had Called The Charleston PD The Monday, Before Those 9 Firefighters Were Killed That Evening, To Get Some Photos Of My Truck From Them. You Can Imagine How Stupid I Felt When I Called Them Back The Next Day, Not Knowing Of That Incident, & How Bittersweet The Whole Damn Thing Became All The Sudden. Just Call Me Weird But That Hit Too Close To Home For Me! That Is Kind Of Why I Stopped The Plan To Convert It To A High End Camper As I Feel Kind Of Obligated To Keep It The Way They Converted It, Kind Of In Those Guys Memory. It's Safe To Say That All 9 Of Those Guys Probably Rode In My Truck At One Time Or Another. I Will Be Having Some Vinyl Lettering Made To Put On The Back That Will Say: "In Memory Of Hereos, The Charleston Nine". I Plan On Sending A Picture Of It With The Lettering On It To The Mayor, The Police Chief & The Fire Chief To Show Them Somebody Is Thinking Of Them. If The Photos Make Just 1 Person Feel Better, Then My Work Will Be Done. I Can Still See Converting It Later On, Maybe, But Will Leave It Like It Is On The Outside.
