Hi Steve,
I cant say if it is original or not, but it is very similar to mine, but mine was done by a company named "Anthony Hydraulics" They are still in business, under"Anthony Liftgate" Mine is powered by an electric driven hydraulic pump underneath the truck, and 2 lift cylinders. That is why my bed sits 4" higher than it should.
