How do you get in your PW?

My method is:

1. open door

2. place right foot on running board

3. place right hand on steering wheel, left hand on door

4. stand up straight on running board

5. turn to left, and bend at the waist

6. place behind over seat area

7. lower self into seat

8. turn body so that legs go under steering wheel

The reason I ask, is that I'm 6' 4" and a friend is, well, vertically challenged. He seems to be able to get in and out effortlessly, (head first) but I can't figure out how to do it his way without bumping my head and barking my shins.
