I have been busy with family stuff since Friday morning, sorry.
This heat gauge should fit your head, I have pulled at least 100 of these over the years and they are all the same size, no matter what engine number they came out of.
I am pretty sure I use a 7/8" wrench to pull the main (bigger) nut.
