Terry, looking at that geared hoist in your pic album. Those are way cool! I had never seen one except on an original Model BB Ford. Do you know any history on yours? Is it functional on a restored truck now? The dump body I saw had the pivot or hinge real close to the center of gravity for the bed, so it did not take a huge power to tip it...I guess that's why the Brits still call them "tippers"--dumptrucks that is.
