I think we just discussed this on the last forum regarding a tractor clutch. There were lots of suggestions with various degrees of difficulty and likelihood of success. I would start with the easiest -- block the clutch pedal down with a 2x4 whenever it's parked and maybe it'll pop loose on its own in a while. That does work sometimes. Otherwise there's getting in the access cover and prying, spraying various cleaner type stuff in it, and of course trying to break it loose like you already did.
