I had never thought about using them in the flasher stuff but using the LED as a replacement for cowl and running light stuff. It would take some of the load off the electrical system although I have not had a problem with 6 volt. Lights seem nice and bright and the motor turns over fine in all weather conditions.
I dont like how the cowl light lense and ring stays on. I am always afraid it will all pop off and out as you bounce down the road. I dont know if the mechanism inside over time would not do its job as well as when it ws new but at least with a LED you wont have to get back into it for a long long time if ever again.
