When I hold my foot down on the brake pedal and start the truck, the pedal pushes back.
It also takes two men and a boy to push the pedal down while it's running.
Is this a symptom of a check valve or the booster.(under the cab)
Prior to this happening, I was getting a lot of white smoke from the exhaust, which of course I thought was a head gasket. Could that have been brake fluid?
I noticed a few posts in the archives regarding smoke and loss of brake fluid, but no one mentioned color. Thanks in advance for your help.
