I don't believe Mr Mossberg, Colt, or Glock are allowed to accompany you in Illinois. The mob's too scared to let law-abiding citizens arm themselves. When did gun control start? 1934, the height of mob activity -- the mafiosos were tired of getting shot by unhappy citizens they were trying to shake down and intimidate. A short-barreled shotgun is the best close-in defensive weapon invented, so it was one of the first things the mob banned.
