That's correct...I think the 205 input shaft was different between the gas truck & the Cummins. I'd love to put in the Cummins NP205 if I can find the tailshaft & housing for my 727.
I have a short tailshaft 727 2WD transmission. Does the NP205 adapter & tailshaft just bolt into this same 2WD case? I understand the whole transmission has to come apart to accomplish this but I guess what I'm asking...is it just a tailshaft & housing that I need?
Bruce...the 203 is full time 4x4...no?
