I have to agree with you on the powder coat. EVERYTHING I ever have had that was powder coated peeled. Maybe it just can't take road salt (used heavily around Uggville)? I have one of them Rhino step bumpers. What a mess it became. I ended up taking off most of the peelin powder coat stuff, treated the metal & painted with an epoxy paint. Hell, even the insides were peelin & they're sealed from the outside. Same goes for those white spoke powder coated wheels I have on my travel trailer.
