I bought Front and Rear Buckstop Bumpers for my 2003 Ram CTD. Buckstop builds great bumpers, high quality fab and welding. They say the Bumpers receive extra care in the Complete Powder Coat nd should last rust free for many years. Mine were installed Spring of 2004. Today I have a lot of rust showing on sharp edges, foot tread areas. The Powder Coat just did not hold up. I tried to touch up the areas with PPG MOA Chassis Black paint when rust would appear. The MOA stayed on the preped steel and the Powder Coat continued to lift where the rust was from the MOA out.

I will touch them up with MOA once more before winter. Next spring, I plan to blast the powder coat off with Black Beauty and Paint them with the PPG MOA. From Experience with the MOA on Frames, I know it bonds and holds up well. No more powder coat for me on anything that exposed to the elements.
