My thoughts on the subject.

To move the Rally to another location would really kill the momentum that Vintage has built. The only place I see that it could move to would be the Threshers Museum in Mt. Pleasant as they are more set-up to deal with events of this nature.

For the most part, the town of Fairfield seem's to appreciate when we come to town or at least tolerate all the trucks and what not. Vintage has spent 20 years building bonds with different organizations over the years that would probably help a new orchestrator get a plan together much easier then starting from scrath.

As Jill stated, the Kerr family has already offered their farm. The Tedrow family has also offered some assistance in the future.

I'm sure the Lions club in Packwood would be more then happy to provide us with another Marvelous dinner. The little town of Bonapart would probably do well with a few visitors. The Threshers museum in Mt. Pleasant is a great place to visit. I'm sure the Iowa Prok Producers would be glad to come back in to cook their Pork Chop and Chicken dinner. Hy-Vee did a pretty decent job as well with the catering dinner.

Some people comment that the trail rides are boring. The Kerr farm is too extreme for the nice trucks. Maybe someone could find something that is in the middle ground. But Fairfield has always been about the family and seeing old friends. It's never been known for it's awesome trailrides.

The Rally might be shortened, maybe made longer. Simpler might not be a bad thing as well. A full day of activities on Saturday would help or end the Rally after the Parade since so many people leave.

My thoughts for now. I have more ideas that I'll add in later or contact me directly.

Pieter
