to bad for you, it was GREAT! The Packwood dinner on Wed was fantastic as always and a welcome return to the line up. The weather man had us going on Thursday but by the time we hit the teeter board everything settled down for a fine evening. The pork chops were just right on Friday night. Saturday could not have been better with 102 trucks in the parade out of 116 registered. We all enjoyed seeing old friends come from long distances and meeting new friends as well. The east coast was well represented at the rally this year. The only sad note was learning that Dave Butler and crew will be taking a year off from the rally business which is much desreved after 20 years of organizing such a super event. This is not to say that someone in the PW community can't carry on the torch for next year. On a personal note I gave a demonstration on bodywork Friday morning that was well received and my Townwagon and I got 3rd place on the teeter board. One more thing we were able to do a panoramic photo of 94 trucks which VPW will make copies available on their website soon. Thanks to everyone for their kind words on the work I did on the PPE TW which won Best of Class this year.
