Steve, I doubt those welded on loops were used for lifting a complete truck. The welded on loops are way out on the unsupported ends of the bumpers. The Lift Shackles, attached to the frame for lifting are seen in the pictures. Did not all Marine M37's have a handle also mounted dead center on the front of the hood for lifting the hood open ?
