A good friend who is in his nineties was a Captain under Patton, you can see him stand up a little straighter when he talks about Patton....and his time in Germany...and the Battle of The Bulge and the liberation of the Death Camps.
We owe it to them to keep the dream alive, or their sacrifice will have been in vain,... just as we owe it to our current vets to make sure that we have the resolve to finish the current fight, so that their sacrifice will not be in vain...
America used to be tougher....
