David. You mentioned that you pumped some of the oil out already. Can you pump the rest out through the same oil? Well drillers use a product that they dump into old abandoned wells. When mixed with water at the proper ratio, it expands several times greater than it's original volume. If you are interested in this solution, I can find out the name of the product for you. JH
