I haven't dug it out to see if there's a man-hole on it, but if there is, I'm sure all the bolts are permanently rusted in place. Once could probably pour dry sand through the filler neck and get it part way full of sand, but I didn't want to mess with going and buying sand and trying to get it into the hole. I just thought that as long as the yard is dug up, if I could cut a big hole in it and fill it up with dirt, now would be the time to do it. I don't think my neighbors would like it if the tank blew up though. There are probably 5 houses within 100' of it.
