Haven't ya heard, The Chicago metro area, home of one of the largest US refineries is also the home of the HIGHEST gas prices in the whole US of A (even CA)? I'm not sure how the rest of the state fares, but I'm sure it's up there too.
I'm pretty close to the Wisconsin border, so I was considering goin there for gas, but they're shutting down the stations close to the border as a protest. In the city itself, prices are OVER the $4.00 a gallon mark for low lead.
