My 2 cents on John and Midwest Military. I see and hear everywhere about what a great guy he is and what great work he does, so I thought I'd share my experience. I am working on a WC57 with some major floor rust and have been trying to decide between cutting and fitting sheet metal or buying one of John's floors. John's floors are approximately $1000 and a few hundred for shipping. I sent e-mails back and forth and evem called John. When I asked John if he had a picture of the floors I was told "they are just like the original and no pics are available" he was also very short with me and seemed to me as if I was bothering him by calling. I also asked about the curved hat channel that runs around the rear of the WC57, John said he could do it, but his machine was broken and since not enough people asked for it he wasn't going to spend the money to fix it. Now, I don't have an endless supply of money for my resto and it will never be a concourse resto job. I'm just an old retired Infantryman trying to enjoy my hobby, but if I can't get a single picture of a product before I cough up a thousand dollars or more of my hard earned money then I will take my business elsewhere.
