I thought this kind of went along with "HOW MUCH IS MY TRUCK WORTH?" Well, it's worth what you want to sell it for. If you ask $500.00 and someone pays you $500.00 then everyone's happy. If that guy then turns around and sells it on e-bay or someplace for a zillion bucks - then he really took the guy to the cleaners. If he bought the truck to have and use and enjoy... everyone's still happy.
I'm buying two rear fenders from a guy tomorrow, paying him about $50.00 for the two of them. He asked $50.00, I'm paying him $50.00 and we're happy. When I show up tomorrow you can sure as hell bet I won't be saying, "HEY, I think those things are worth $2,000.00!!" - Nope, I'm going to pay him $50.00 and put them on my truck. How much were those fenders worth? They're worth $50.00.
