powder coating is not a very flexible coating and might crack and flake off of the spring leaves. You might be better off using an epoxy paint-- they are quite flexible and not prone to crack.

There's lots of different powdrer- Epox,Nylon, teflon, polyester - chriscase 10:34:28 05/21/2007
