Finally got the old '67 crew cab off the blocks and back out on the road. I can say now without a doubt, that the new drums listed for 69's, the earliest shown on the parts books, will fit mid sixties trucks just fine. Stick with a vendor that shows the same part number and price for the fronts & rears, since they are the same casting. NAPA had them for $83 apiece. The drums are swaged onto the hubs, so unfortunatly it was a machine shop job to change them out.

The other day my daughter was watching an episode of a TV show called 'Supernatural'. As I walked by, there on the screen was a '64 W200 stepside, black, with a huge hood scoop, about 10 headlights, and a pair of whacking great , smoke belching stacks...cool! Turns out, the thing was the star of this particular episode (#13, season 1). It's a demon-ghost truck, like the Flying Dutchman, that can rip Chevy Lumina's to shreds! We always knew that was true... Now if it was just a crew cab, all of the Demon's Demon-buddy's could've gone along for the ride.
