Ron, I never took a picture of the piece inside the B Post on the Carryall or Bumblebee. I use a piece of .500 x 2.0" stock. Plasma cut a opening in the roof directly over the B Post. Then drop the steel stock in the B Post and weld her in place. At the right height for me, I drill a 7/16" hole thru the B Post and steel stock for a Grade 8 Bolt for the top anchor. Then the roof is closed back up and welded.

I believe you could also with some work fit a length of .500" x 2.0" x about a foot without opening the roof. It woud not be as strong, but sure better than just the sheet metal B Post.

My M37 has .250" x 2.0" square tubing welded to the B Post. The Top anchor is in the 2x2 tube. This is easy since the Arctic Cap was off my M37 and these just slide into place and get welded. Then the Arctic Caps just gets re-installed.

I dont believe any of my systems would pass a DOT Crash Test ! But its sure bennter than nothing.

Paul
