You might try having the MC sleeved with a SS tube. That is what I did with mine. I sent it through The Filling Station http://www.fillingstation.com/, so I don't know who actually does the work. It cost me about $75. Maybe NAPA can get this done. I think I still had to get a rebuild kit, but the ID of the SS is the same as the original cast iron.
