Hmmm - I was thinking that with the different rocker angle there would be a different absolute angle as related to the camshaft, but since the valve closes at that higher valve angle, and since the pushrod pivots at the lifter and the rocker arm (which is fixed in its relation to the camshaft) I've come to the conclusion that you are right.
It is really all academic anyway, since I dropped the heads off at the machine shop over lunch. ;^)
