I bought a pair of Dualmatics for my WC-26 in 1971. They lasted several years but the mounting bolts would work loose.I neglected to tighten them and one hub exsploded bouncing through a rut on a hill.It broke out from small hair line cracks that formed in the aluminum shell between where the locking pawel(the lever hooks to it)socket is machined and the mounting bolt hole is drilled.I replaced with another pair and they are still working but are now showing the same cracks from the bolts working loose(I need bend over tabs to lock bolts). So KEEP THE BOLTS TIGHT.I have seen a pair of Dualmatics on a military 1942 Chevy 1 1/2 ton and they look super tought. They have three levers in place of the two on lighter trucks.
