I have started work on a 1942 WC54 dodge 3/4 ton ambulance. i could use some advice
on correct parts and tips on rebuilding. I have decided (although I have been told
it was not offered from the factory) to make it a winch model. I aquired a Braden
Winch Co model M2-135 to put on it. Will this work? If so I am looking for a drive
shaft and to the best of my knowledge the engagment parts that mount on the winch
it's self. Any advice would be appreciated!
Also, I picked up one seat and a heater at a junkyard. Would anyone could tell me by
looking at pictures if they are correct for the ambulance?
Additionaly, I found, besides the vehicle number, two sets of numbers stamped into the
frame, any ideas what they may be about?
