I had a 1945 WC-51 hauled from California to Mass
for the sum of $1495.... I had requested estimates from at least 4 others, including private individuals who wanted a lot more than that.. The highest price I got was some joker
who wanted $5000 to do the job! Admiralty folks were curtious and very proffesional.... Be careful who you hire! Get a good firm with good
reference customers and insurance... Some guy with
a trailer and 1 ton might do the job, but what
if something happens en-route? Does he have coverage?
