Does anyone have a rear axle currently stripped down and can measure with a caliper the spindle ID? That will of course be the limit on axle diameter without major mods. It would be wonderful to get up to 1.50" or even 1-7/16" (1.4375"). If we could get 1.4375" OD fine splines then we could have true 1.375" shafts. Right now the shafts are down to 1.25" because with the deep coarse splines that's what's left after the depth of the splines. With the 4th power rule 1.375" would be 44% stronger. Then we could get Tractech to make a Detroit locker with 1.4375" fine spline outputs set up for the Dodge ring gear and we'd be all set.
