Just remember free advice is worth what you pay. After looking in two service manuals and the mopar parts catalogue, there was a change in the manual regarding the 318 in May, 1967. Don't ask me what was changed to the 318, but it wasn't the starter. Chrysler part 1889100 is your starting motor. No self-respecting W-300 would have an automatic, would it? the W-100 and W-200s with auto transmissions used part 2095150 and maybe thats where the confusion at the parts place comes from.
