Assuming it's the same as the TF ('39) it will have a gate on the transfer (as opposed to just forward and back in / out)
To the right and back is "OF" which is "out of front" which would be the noraml operating position. To the left and forwards is Hi four wheel, one notch back is neutral, then fully back on the LH side is low four wheel. basically there are two levers running to the transfer case, both of which are operated by this single lever in the cab.
