The regular steering wheel puller won't work on the Dodge trucks of this era. There was a special tool made for pulling the wheel. I don't have one but do have a gear puller. This is the type that slides behind the gear and pulls evenly. I was going to get a wheel and try it but the prive went from $5 to $75 for a wheel that has sat outside for 20 years.
