I finally realized what was missing off my '58 251 engine. There is no dipstick tube or stick (maybe it's absence and the disconnect of the oil filter explain the spun #5 rod bearing?!) Anyway, I'd like to get one for it if anybody has one around. I presume it fits through one of the holes in the block near the pressure relief valve, as my oil pan has no hole in the side, like some I have seen, though the oil pan is not original. Thanks! Rob
