I'm not sure how far we are from Canada. We're about 50 miles from Coeur d'Alene on I-90, if that helps. I think that from Canada you'd come down 95 through Sandpoint or 20 through Metaline Falls, either of which is probably 100 miles or so. If you come to visit, do it soon while there are still lots of old logging and mining roads all over the hills that you can drive your PW on -- the Forest Service and the private land owners are putting up more and more gates all the time. But for now, there's still some incredible "truck hiking" as I call it, driving along high ridges with great views in all directions.
