I knew some cars have them. Usually, a hose form the top of the tank, to a 'tee' on the filler neck. Didn't know they should have been stock on FFPW's.

I did put one into my command car. I used a piece of bendable 3/8 fuel line, soldered inside the filler. Bent first, and long enough so the inner end is at the top of the elbow at the tank. It's galvanised, so easy to solder. Bendable copper would work good too. Remove the filler neck first. Cut the tubing, and remove the ferrules from the tubing. Use the flared end as a funnel on the inner end. The outer end should come to about 1-2 inch of the cap.

I believe that the filler neck has a solder coating, not galvanised. I THINK that is to prevent sparking? as well as rust proofing?
